The screensaver downloaded and installed without difficulty onto my Win XP SP3 PC. I was looking for something with higher resolution with a quality comparable to what I got free with the latest version of Ubuntu that I am running on a virtual machine (Cosmos). The earth looks fuzzy at the edges, not as magnificent as I expected. So I have reverted to a screensaver that came with Win XP.

 apple vs microsoft
Although I was able to download the 3d earth screensaver it would not install on my mac book. I was sure there was a choice of operating systems available but was dissapointed to see the .exe extension on the file. Because of this I am unable to review the screensaver......

This was an excellent animation of earth and relative positions of sun and moon. Both entertaining and enthralling.
